AGÜ’de Geri Dönüşüm Festivali I "ReUseFest" at AGU

Geri dönüşüm ve sürdürülebilirliğin önemine dikkat çekmek amacıyla düzenlenen “ReUseFest” festivali öğrencilerin ilgisini çekti. Festivalde, atık malzemelerden sokak hayvanları için barınak yapımları, atıkların hayatımızdaki yansımalarını gösteren fotoğraf yarışmaları gibi etkinlikler gerçekleştirildi.

Öğrenci Kulüpleri Birliği ile Atık Komisyonu tarafından ortaklaşa düzenlenen festivalde, AGÜ ailesinin atık azaltma konusunda “Azalt, Yeniden Kullan ve Geri Dönüştür” anlamına gelen “3 R” alışkanlıklarını değiştirmeleri amacıyla atölyeler ve çeşitli yarışmalar yapıldı.
Fotoğraf yarışması sonunda ödül almaya hak kazanan öğrencilere ödülleri, Rektör Prof. Dr. İhsan Sabuncuoğlu tarafından verildi. Yarışmada dereceye giren fotoğraflar ile yarışmaya katılan diğer tüm fotoğraflar da açılan sergide sergilendi.

Festivalin sonunda “Koray Haklı & 80 Mill” adlı müzik grubu rock konseri verdi. Öğrenciler, konserde doyasıya eğlendi.

The "ReUseFest" organized to draw attention to the importance of recycling and sustainability attracted many students. Various activities of the festival included construction of shelters for stray animals from waste materials and photo contests to depict the reflections of waste on our lives.

The Students Clubs Association and Waste Committee organized the festival jointly. Various workshops and contests were held to guide the AGU family in the practice of the "3 Rs" of waste reduction which are "Reducing, Reusing, and Recycling".
At the end of the photo contest, awards of the students were presented by Rector Prof. İhsan Sabuncuoğlu. The winning photos as well as all submissions to the contest were exhibited.

At the end of the festival, the rock band “Koray Haklı & 80 Mill” took the stage. Students enjoyed the concert fully.
